CleanMax Solar-Promoting Clean Energy and Sustainability

CleanMax Solar was founded in January 2011 by Jain in Mumbai, India. Jain had become an entrepreneur after leaving his employment at McKinsey & Company as the Head of the Energy and Corporate Finance Division. Initially, he started with production of energy through gas based cogeneration as gas prices were cheap and the cost of energy from solar rooftop power plant was higher than that of energy available in the local grid. In the next 12 months, by January 2012, gas prices had doubled and solar based energy prices had come down.
